ANYELA GOMEZ

Anyela Gómez, known artistically as Anyelisax, is an award-nominated Colombian saxophonist celebrated for her expressive sound, stage presence, and versatility across genres. With a remarkable career in Latin music, she has performed with some of the most renowned artists in salsa and merengue, including Eddy Herrera, Proyecto Uno, El Puma José Luis Rodríguez, and Olga Tañón and others. She also had the honor of performing at an exclusive gala for Nadia Ferrer’s brand, sharing the stage with the legendary Marc Anthony.
Her international career has taken her to more than 15 countries, performing in prestigious venues such as the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center in New York and in front of the iconic Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Anyela has also been part of the Latin Grammy Person of the Year tribute band, performing alongside music icons Juan Luis Guerra, Rubén Blades, Gloria Estefan, David Bisbal and Carlos Vives.
She was recently nominated for a Latin Grammy Award with the group Claraluna in the category of Best Children’s Music Album, featuring her soulful saxophone solo next to Felipe Peláez in the song “Ven a Cantar.” Combining the rhythmic energy of Latin music with jazz expression and classical precision, Anyela continues to inspire audiences around the world.
